The developers used a combination of softwares to engineer this time-saving application. OpenCV is the most powerful, open-source, trans-platform tool we could find to analyse video and our starting point when searching for software. The language this application is written in, is C++. Although the video tool we decided to use is optimized for both C++ and Python, a personal familiarity with C++ prompted the developers to chose it. The developers chose to use Qt Creator IDE for the GUI aspect of the application because of the extensive C++ libraries.
