Birgit Penzenstadler is a professor for software engineering at the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Read more about her HERE.
Isaac Borges

Isaac Borges Mota is a student at the University of Brasilia, Brazil, where he studies Software Engineering in a bachelor degree. He has participated in the Brazilian government exchange program called Science Without Borders, which offers opportunities to study abroad. He had the opportunity to study in three different great institutions around the United States: The University of Alabama at Birmingham, improving his English skills; Wayne State University, taking academic courses in the major of Computer Science; and The California State University, Long Beach, participating in a summer research with Professor Birgit Penzenstadler in the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science. His research focuses on software engineering field.
In this research, he has worked on a software toolkit for modeling sustainable systems. The kit will allow requirements engineers to more easily focus on developing green technology.Isaac has worked on a software toolkit for modeling sustainable systems. Geison Oliveira

Geison de Souza Oliveira is a student of Software Engineering at the University of Brasilia, Brazil.
Currently student exchange of Brazil Scientific Mobility Program at Indiana Institute of Technology and undergraduate research assistant at California State University Long Beach. His research focuses on development of a software toolkit for modeling sustainability systems.
Nícolas Perez

Nicolas Perez is a Computer Engineering student at the University of Ribeirão Preto with emphasis in systems automation, graduated as project design techinican and already developed research in complex networks and automation engineering.
Susana Silva

Susana Silva is a Information Systems student at Universidade do Estado da Bahia (Brazil), and currently a research student at California State University, Long Beach. She is a participant of the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program, a Brazilian government project which provides that Brazilian students can be able to study in the United States or in another countries around the world.
Susana has developed web pages and participated in several projects in her university, like in a sustainable project about reuse of computers and eletronic components and decided work in this area in your Academic Training for the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program. In this research, she has worked in the website development, from design to content generation.
Tássio Souza

Tássio Souza is an undergraduate student at Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. Majoring in Information System, enthusiast in software development in general, has developed softwares for mobile and web platforms, currently engaged in a research at California State University, Long Beach about Software Sustainable. He is a participant in the new Brazil Scientific Mobility Program (more information is available at BSMP).
