Scope And Purpose

CECS 491A Shark Lab UAV provides a solution to tracking shark movements in video footage of schools of sharks.

The CSULB shark lab benefits from the use of this software.

User Instructions

Process Page:

  1. Left Camera Video Input: This is the Left Camera Video Input. The output will determine the left Camera Video input. It mainly use this to display the location of shark.
  2. Right Camera Video Input: This input will combine with the left camera video input.
  3. Output Video directory: This directory determine where you want to put. Keep it mind the directory will contain lots of pic. It take lots of space.
  4. Frame capture per second: Our program will find out how many fps in the video. This input is about how many frame per second you want. Higher number of input will give you more picture. This improve the accurate of the size measure.
  5. Left Video Screenshot and Right Video Screenshot: This is display for the video. You may check it do both screenshot is similar or not. Different series of video input may damage the database
  6. Next: This will lead you to the load directory.
  7. Process: This will be available when you put the input on left, right Camera video input and the output video directory. All the picture will store in the output directory

Load Page:

  1. Load the file Directory: This is the file load. So you don't have to process the create picture again. Insert the directory to the entry. And this will load all the data of that file
  2. Screenshot of the directory: This will pick one of the program style format and print it on the frame below. This can let you check do you pick the right directory
  3. Back: Back to the start page
  4. Next: Go to the display page which show all data of the measure shark.

Display Page:

  1. >: Display the next image
  2. <: Display the previous image
  3. Back: Go to the load Page
